Raibon RadioYou may not think a former cop would have much of a sense of humor, well you need to meet a former police officer from Houston that does. While moonlighting off-duty as a security officer Raibon wandered into a comedy club. He later formed a partnership with Rushion McDonald, the (manager of Steve Harvey) and along with J. Anthony Brown created the Apollo Theatre of the Southwest, “The Hip-Hop Comedy Stop”, where the birthplace of Destiny’s Child took place on amateur night in the early 90’s.

Later, after performing in Dave Rabe’s well-known play, “Streamers”, Raibon realized he had the chops for acting and left Houston in 1995 and pursued stand-up comedy and acting. Raibon has made appearances on such television shows as, “Just Shoot Me”, “Six Feet Under”, “Without A Trace”, “NYPD Blue”, “The Hughley’s”, “N.C.I.S.”, “Las Vegas”, “My Name Is Earl”, a recurring cop on “Punk’d”, a recurring guest star as the snitch “Van Bro” on the hit series, “The Shield”, 2008 season of Russell Simmon’s HBO Def Comedy Jam, 2010 season Martin Lawrence’s presents on Starz and coming Feb 2011, “Way Black When” on TVOne as well as numerous national commercials. Raibon can also be seen in the Independent thriller, “Strange Fruit.”

Currently developing a new scripted golf related sit-com series called “FORE” and also performing for the U.S. military in Kosovo, Germany, Japan and Iraq. Raibon is breaking out as an international celebrity, fueled with his hilarious accounts in detail of his life as a Texas cop. “They let anybody be a police”.

Raibon has recently stepped into hosting and producing his very own weekly internet radio talk show on www.LaTalkLive.com "Raibon Radio!"
